April 8, 2024: Under the Stars Solar Eclipse Day at the KYSU Farm. This program will be held at the Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm, 1525 Mills Ln, Frankfort, KY 40601. Watch the solar eclipse with KYSU, 4-H, and the Paul Sawyier Public Library coming together at the Harold R. Benson Farm. Registration is Required at https://forms.gle/sREPxCKfYTJ2brHM8. Solar viewing glasses available while supplies last.

April 13, 2024: Reforest Frankfort at West Sixth Farm 8am-12noon. Free for the community. Help plant trees, have lunch, hear music and experience environmental activities. More info at https://www.facebook.com/ReForestFrankfort/

April 13, 2024: Kids Adventure Day 3-6pm at Yes Arts 317 West Second Street, Frankfort. There will be a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting, ice cream from Hoggy’s, food from Main Street Diner, bubble station, lots of games and more. Frankfort police and fire will be there with their vehicles for kids to check out.

April 23, 2024– Parent Cafe-Weathering the Storm. Held at Second Street School from 5:30-7:30pm. Open to all parents and caregivers in Franklin County. Come talk to and learn from other parents about the challenges and victories of raising a family. There will be dinner and childcare provided for free at this event. April 27, 2024: Sobriety Festival will take place at Thorn Hill Education Center from 1pm-4pm in the gym. Free event. Stop by to learn about community resources, hear testimonials, win prizes, and more.

May 26, 2024: Community Clean Up with Bridging the Gap from 1-4pm. Come and help clean up Douglass Avenue. There will also be a health services fair, DJ, and cookout.

June 7-8, 2024: Capital Expo Festival will be held June 7 at 10am-June 8 at 10pm. 404 Wilkinson Blvd/W Second Street. There will be a Classic Car cruise in, children’s festival, rides, 5k race, live music, and arts/food vendors.

June 8, 2024: Capital Expo Children’s Festival 10am-2pm. Free activities for kids! More info to come.
