ADULT EDUCATION
Adult education is a practice in which adults engage in systematic and sustained self-educating activities in order to gain new forms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values. It can mean any form of learning adults engage in beyond traditional schooling, encompassing basic literacy to personal fulfillment as a lifelong learner.

Kentucky Adult Education is committed to providing academic and essential skills instruction through collaborative efforts to promote statewide lifelong learning and an attainable path to greater self-sufficiency.
Thorn Hill Consortium
The Thorn Hill Consortium is comprised of three Counties. Bourbon, Franklin and Jackson all work together to help achieve the goals of all adults that enter the doors. This team consistently ranks among the best in the state and leads the way in terms family literacy, ESL and GED education. Please visit or call to participate in any of our programs.
